Or in this case the golf course
For many years, Todd and Morgan Barten have been dedicated supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley, generously giving their time, resources and hearts to help local youth thrive. As owners of the Darmor Club in Columbus, they graciously donated the use of their golf course and underwrote the entire charity golf tournament, ensuring that every dollar raised could directly benefit the children and families served by the Clubs. Todd and Morgan’s unwavering support continues to make a lasting difference, helping create opportunities and brighter futures for countless young people throughout the area.
Their spirit of giving has been passed on to the next generation. Over the past year, their son, Charlie, dedicated countless hours to collecting lost golf balls from the tall grasses along the Darmor Course. What began as a simple effort to recover stray golf balls grew into a meaningful way to support his community. Charlie carefully cleaned, sorted, and saved the golf balls before reselling them at the Darmor Charity Golf Tournament, with all proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley. Through his hard work, determination, and generosity, Charlie raised an impressive $1,200, helping provide valuable programs and opportunities for our local youth while exemplifying the true spirit of community service and philanthropy.
